To the Greeks, Epione was the goddess of soothing.

In Greek Mythology, Epione was the goddess of soothing pain. In fact the name literally means “soothing”. To the ancient Greeks, Epione’s husband was the god of medicine and healing. In our case, we chose the name Epione to emphasize our mission to provide hopeful, graceful care across a full range of care services. The way we see it, Epione isn’t limited to physical pain; our goal is to soothe mental and emotional pain as well.
